NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s 18 April 2024 service update states that, on clinical advice, NHSGGC and NHS Lothian deferred new puberty-hormone-suppressant and cross-sex hormone starts in mid-March 2024 and then formally paused those treatments after the Cass Review, with existing patients continuing. The Scottish Government’s Cass implications report records that joint GGC/Lothian pause.
