Parliament sent the President a law amending Article 7 of National Education Law 1/2011 to prohibit, in all teaching establishments, activities aimed at spreading the theory or opinion of gender identity understood as gender being different from biological sex. Constitutional Court Decision 907 of 16 December 2020 — final and generally binding — found that provision unconstitutional. The school ban did not enter into force. Official school sources therefore sit as Schools mixed — the struck ban did not enter into force.
