The 2025 AWMF S2k guideline (register 028-014) still permits puberty blockers after Tanner stage 2 under specified diagnostic criteria. The 128th German Medical Assembly (2024) asked the federal government to confine blockers, cross-sex hormones, and related surgeries in under-18s to controlled trials. The clinical guideline still allows blockers.
Listing Germany as Banned would hide the 2025 S2k guideline, which still permits puberty blockers under criteria. Mixed is the accurate label. Federal law has not banned pediatric medical transition.
