The 2024 school-content statute is listed above. A later bill that would have punished medical sex-change activity on under-18s did not pass. No official health-ministry pediatric pathway for puberty blockers, opposite-sex hormones, or surgery is listed.

The National Assembly adopted, and the President promulgated in State Gazette No. 69 of 16 August 2024, an amendment to Article 11(2) of the Pre-school and School Education Act. In the pre-school and school system it is forbidden to propagandize, popularize, or incite — directly or indirectly — ideas and views related to “non-traditional sexual orientation” and/or determining a gender identity different from biological sex. Additional provisions define “non-traditional sexual orientation.” This is a school-content statute. A later bill to repeal point 3 is not an enacted repeal.
