Federal Council of Medicine Resolution 2.427/2025 forbids physicians from prescribing hormone blockers for gender incongruence or dysphoria in children and adolescents, and forbids cross-sex hormones before age 18. Precocious puberty and other endocrine indications are carved out. Patients already on treatment are carved out. CFM states that the STF set aside a lower-court pause so the resolution is in force.
