Decree 62/2025 substituted article 11 of Law 26.743 so persons under 18 could not access hormonal treatments or surgeries to modify the body to a self-perceived identity. Chamber V of the Federal Contentious-Administrative Court issued a precautionary measure suspending that decree pending a final judgment.
